Verizon Dials Up The 2025 Super Bowl In 30 Football Cities

Quick, think of the most anticipated day of the year. Is it Thanksgiving or is it Christmas? I think most of us agree that one or the other of those days are when whole families get together for a holiday experience everyone is excited to share. What do you think might be next in the order of significance? There is a very strong argument that it’s Super Bowl Sunday.

The Super Bowl gathers extraordinary attention. Ticket prices for recent Super Bowl games make Taylor Swift’s ERA tour look like a trip to Trader Joe’s. The local airport where the game is being held is completely filled by private jets. Demand is so high that often people have to fly to the second closest airport just to have a place to park their airplane.

Hotel prices are roughly equivalent to ransom notes. Some lucky people earn up to half a year’s mortgage from renting out their house for the week of the game. The point is that scarcity drives demand and for an event with demand at the level of the Super Bowl it is nearly impossible for the ordinary fan to get anyplace near the game. They take the second best option, get a big new TV from Costco, a pallet of beer and 30 pounds of chips and salsa.

On February 9th2025, Super Bowl LIX will take place in New Orleans, LA at the Caesars Superdome. Just to make things even tougher than usual, the halftime artist is Kendrick Lamar, and as of this writing, the Kansas City Chiefs remain in contention so the Swiftie contingent rooting for Taylor’s boyfriend remain in the mix. At the moment, ticket prices are trading at $5,500 to start, with suites available into the seven digits.

So, this is the status quo. The 59th Super Bowl is not a game for the common man. It is a bucket list item with price no object. What is a fan who is not capable of dropping $25,000 on a weekend supposed to do? Over the past 58 Super Bowls there hasn’t really been a good answer other than stay home, go to a bar or a neighborhood party.

Creativity is astounding. Things which are obvious in retrospect sometimes take 59 years to think up. Verizon, a company which has not yet been around for 59 years figured it out this year. They have decided to throw a Super Bowl Fan Fest. Verizon is putting on a live watch party in thirty major venues in football cities across the United States. This isn’t just a TV show. It’s real people in the stands watching the game live as broadcast. It’s pretty much the same thing as watching the game play out before you because football happens very fast on the field and you really only see what happens when they replay it on the screen.

Verizon is not just providing the seats and the live feed. They are arranging a real event in every one of their 30 locations. There will be live music, celebrity meet and greets, food and beverages for purchase, and interactive opportunities to tour the locker rooms, play games, or enjoy photo opportunities.

Tickets to the Verizon’s Super Bowl Fan Fest are free. Access to the event requires preregistration at: VerizonFanFest.com. From there, anyone can enter to win tickets. There is no requirement that you be a customer of Verizon, although Verizon would very much like it if you would join their network.

So, instead of traveling at great expense to one of the consistently most expense events of the year, several million people now have an alternate choice. You can register for Super Bowl Fan Fest tickets. If you get tickets, you will have a free entrance into a filled stadium of Super Bowl fans, with all of the same amenities of the game itself. You will hear music from local musicians, eat food from local chefs, and scream at the top of your lungs when the team you favor does well, or when they fail. And, don’t worry about losing out on Super Bowl merchandise. In certain cities, team memorabilia will be for sale at the Fan Fast.

There is a never before asked question which is going to be answered on Super Bowl Sunday. What’s more fun, spending thousands of dollars to travel to and watch the game as it plays out in front of you live on the field or going to your local stadium with all your friends to see the same game together in a massive Super Bowl party? Verizon is making its own bet in thirty cities across the country that what’s fun is being together whether or not you are in New Orleans where it plays live or in any of the other 30 venues where it is streaming. This is brilliant experiment. After all, in almost every family room across the county the game will be on, snacks and drinks will be shared while Super Bowl plays out for the group gathered to watch. What Verizon has done is supersized the living room to a stadium and made it so in 30 more cities people get to share the experience of Super Bowl Fan Fest. Register now and grab your seats.
