Special Weather Statement issued January 15 at 4:30AM EST by NWS Jackson KY

A frigid air mass has moved into the area this morning. The
combination of mostly clear skies, light winds, and lingering
snow on the ground will allow temperatures to fall into the 0 to 5
above range for most spots by sunrise today. A few of the coldest
low- lying areas and valleys could see their temperatures fall to
between 0 and 5 degrees below zero.
