Arkansas State has enjoyed a four-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They and the Southern Miss Golden Eagles will face off in a Sun Belt battle at 8:00 p.m. ET on Wednesday at Reed Green Coliseum. The Red Wolves are strutting in with some offensive muscle as they’ve averaged 78.5 points per game this season.
Last Saturday, Arkansas State strolled past Texas State with points to spare, taking the game 80-65.
Arkansas State was working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Texas State only posted ten.
Meanwhile, Southern Miss came up short against Troy on Monday and fell 70-61.

It’s a different story for Southern Miss, though, as they’ve been averaging 14.7. Given Arkansas State’s sizable advantage in that area, Southern Miss will need to find a way to close that gap.
