There are also predictions for genre categories like Best Rock Album, Progressive R&B Album, Americana Album, Latin Rock or Alternative Album, Música Urbana Album, Rap Song and Album, and Country Song and Album.
The Recording Academy made a handful of adjustments to the Big Four categories this year, reducing the number of potential nominees from 10 to eight. It also tweaked some of its rules to contend with the rise of AI technology in music and debuted three new categories: Best African Music Performance, Best Pop Dance Recording, and Best Alternative Jazz Album.
The 2025 Grammys are scheduled to take place Feb. 2, 2025, at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
