* WHERE…Portions of central and west central Florida, including
the following counties, in central Florida, Polk and Sumter. In
west central Florida, Citrus, Hernando, Hillsborough, Manatee,
Pasco and Pinellas.
* WHEN…Until 845 AM EDT Thursday.
* IMPACTS…Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads
remain closed due to flooding. Streams continue to rise due to
excess runoff from earlier rainfall.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 242 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the warned area. Between 8 and 12 inches of rain
have fallen with localized reports of as much as 18 inches.
– Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible in
the warned area.

Tampa, Spring Hill, Clearwater, Lakeland, Largo, Bradenton,
Pinellas Park, Plant City, Winter Haven, Temple Terrace,
Haines City, Seminole, New Port Richey, Auburndale,
Zephyrhills, Palmetto, Brooksville, Inverness, Wildwood and
