‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ Among Five Indian Films On Netflix Top 10

Kartik Aaryan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 landed online on December 27 and is already the second most-watched non-English film on Netflix worldwide. In the week ending December 29, the Anees Bazmee-directorial registered 3.7 million views and became second most-watched non-English film on Netflix after the Belgian crime drama Ferry 2. The Hindi film scored 9.8 million watch-hours in two days on the platform.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is second most-watched non-English film on Netflix this week

A total of five Indian films made it to the weekly list of most-watched non-English films on Netflix. These include Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 which made its digital debut last week. Dulquer Salmaan-starrer Lucky Baskhar continues to charm its way to the audiences’ hearts as it made it to the list for the fifth consecutive week. Vasan Bala’s Jigra and Rajkumar Periasamy’s Amaran completed their fourth week in row on the weekly Netflix list. It is the second week on the list for Yo Yo Honey Singh Famous.

Lucky Baskhar

Dulquer Salmaan plays the lead role in Lucky Baskhar, directed Venky Atluri directed. The Telugu film had a successful box office run when it released on October 31 before its Netflix premiere on November 28. This is the fifth week on the list, and on Netflix for the film. It registered 1.5 million views and 3.8 million watch-hours this week. Lucky Baskhar also stars Meenaakshi Chaudhary, and Maganti Srinath.

Lucky Baskhar emerged on the third position in its fourth week on Netflix. Prior to that, the film made it to the third, and fifth slots on the list. In its first two weeks on Netflix, the movie made it to the second slot on the list of most-watched non-English films on Netflix.

Jigra

Headlined by Alia Bhatt, Jigra landed on Netflix on December 6 after a disappointing box office run. After staying on Netflix’s weekly list of most-watched non-English films for three weeks in a row, Vasan Bala’s thriller ranked on seventh slot for its fourth week on the platform. This week, Jigra registered 1.4 million views and 3.6 million watch-hours. Previously, it made to the fourth, seventh and third slots on the platform.

Amaran

Rajkumar Periasamy’s Tamil film recorded 1.3 million views in its fourth week on Netflix. In the week ending December 29, Amaran ranked on ninth slot on Netflix’s list of most-watched non-English films. Previously, the Sivakarthikeyan film made it to sixth, fourth and sixth slots on the list.

The film is based on the real-life story of Indian soldier Major Mukund Varadarajan, and it scored well at the box office before heading to Netflix on December 5. The film also stars Sai Pallavi.

Yo Yo Honey Singh Famous

Netflix India original Yo Yo Honey Singh Famous ranked on the tenth slot on the list of most-watched non-English films on Netflix for the week ending December 29. The new documentary film around the life of Punjabi rapper and Bollywood singer-musician Honey Singh is directed by Mozez Singh and earlier made it to the eighth slot on the list. This week, it registered 1.1 million views and 1.4 million watch-hours.
