Satellite and surface observations show areas of patchy fog
lingering over portions of southeast Virginia and northeast North
Carolina this morning. Visibilities are averaging between one
half mile and one mile, though are one quarter mile or less in
localized areas. Visibilities should improve over the next hour.
Motorists should be alert for sudden changes in visibility due to
the areas of dense fog. Drive at reduced speeds and use low beam
headlights only.
